Many people believe that great football players just walk on to the pitch and perform like champions. I have known 2 or 3 players that can do this, but most cannot and don’t.

Most professional players give themselves the advantage of learning good habits and useful skills from an early age. They use coaches and academies that give thoughtful planning and preparation to the development of them as individuals.

Remember, the more you practice and play the easier it gets. Just about everything you do easily now was once difficult to do. From fear to confidence, from difficult to easy; from incompetent to competent – that’s something we repeat over and over again throughout our lives.
